I would have done/acted with same message for ‘Humanitarian Help’, like your message in Kantipur today. However, I believe, you might have unintentionally escaped (1) Available facts (2) Propaganda of Strategy of Nepal Govt.
Available facts as of yesterday implies, there is sufficient medicine in Kathmandu, and definitely not emergency. Myrepublica headline is “Drugs worth millions rotting at TIA customs” since months and further states Govt agency wants “a tarrif of 10 percent of the price of the medicines”. The second headline of Kathmandu Post says “Medicines to be Brought Through Rerouting” and further quotes Deepak Dahal Vice-chair of the Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal (APPN) saying ‘no shortage of medicines to the extent as reported by the media except a few medicines”.
Putting the above two headline news together, the message concludes (1) There is media propaganda (same like govt) to use medicine as pretext to punch Madhesis (2) There is alternative border points open for supply (3) Govt is rotting the available medicine, looking profit and making noise for the heck of it. (4) Madhesis issue are being pushed under carpet, which is root cause for all the symptoms
Medicine is one among the tool using as pretext to malign Madhesis. It’s like, Hindi saying “Muh may Ram-Ram, bagal mae chhuri“. The other tools being used as propaganda are, (b) Jungle is being destroyed. (c) earthquake victims are waiting. (d) schools are closed.
Sarita ji, I do know media are biased. If you believe you have been misquoted, please come up with statement against media. Else, it hearts people, who have gone through racial killing from police (that have 2.2% Madhesis enrollment), and believe current blockade method is thrusted upon Madhesis, rather than as choice. In simple words, ‘Whole Madhesh is on Hunger Strike, not the paharis’, Pahari and Kathmandu have china to take care of basic need. China will provide free as well as subsidized oil/gas and everything. Madhesis kitchen will either run dry, and in best case will get oil/gas bought at higher price with hard earned money, which is little among the Madhesis. I believe, you understand, from which direction I am trying to speak. Hope you see justice from you.

sarita ji ko kya maloom ki madhesh ka arth kya hota hai.
They are trying to dilute our protest but they have forgetten that people of madhesh are now awake. we will not rest until we got our right.
